How we're organized
Four subteams, one machine
Each subteam owns a slice of the machine, while leaders and responsible engineers keep their components aligned and on schedule.
Hardware
Cutterhead, hydraulics, muck, and launch structure — the mechanical muscle that moves earth, designed and fabricated in-house.
Electrical
Power distribution, motor control, and connected sensors that contribute everything electrical in nature to our machine.
Software
The operator control GUI, telemetry pipeline, data logging, and navigational guidance that keeps the bore on its autonomous path.
Business & Logistics
Fundraising, sponsorships, budget, supplier outreach, and the cross-country logistics that get our machine to the pit while keeping costs down.
